Abuses of Power

It seems as though so many leaders have forgotten their purpose in leading a country.  The governmental systems of communism, socialism and democracy are breaking down right now, and the leaders don’t seem to know what to do about all of the problems inflicting us today.  Have the leaders forgotten about the people?

In all of the Arthurian stories and the legends of the grail there is a question that is asked.  “Whom does the grail serve?  The answer is that the grail king serves God and the people.  This was considered to be the grail code.  The Parliament ran the government, but the king represented the people and would speak for the needs of the people.

Jesus was considered to be the king of the Jews, but in all of the scriptures he did not act like we would consider a king to act.  He was a humble and a poor king, and rather than have the people go to him, he went to the people.  He acted as a vessel for God’s word, and depended upon God’s help when helping his people.  Jesus was a simple man and he was not only a king, but he was one of the people.  He never sought to elevate himself above the people, and humbly told them that the words of wisdom that he spoke came from God and not from him.  He brought out the truth, even when that truth could put his life in danger.  When he saw a corruption taking place at the temple in Jerusalem, he openly revealed that to the people and showed them that they had made the temple into a den of thieves.

He never went to war with the Romans, because that would have created suffering for the Jews and the Romans.  It was important to him to keep the peace, and to try to change things through God’s word and not through a government’s actions.

Instead, he sought to represent his people and to teach them moral values based upon God’s word.  He used parables to teach the people moral values that would help them in their everyday life endeavors, so that they could prevent problems, rather than have to solve them after they have already occurred.

Today, presidents, kings and dictators elevate themselves to greatness, while the people are starving in the streets.  The U.S. congressmen pass laws for the corporations, as they greedily cash their checks, while saying that they represent the people with their empty promises.  Lobbying has become the new word for bribing these days, and all of this is perfectly legal in our corrupt government.  Thieves and criminals are rewarded for their evil deeds, and they ride around in their Jaguars and limonene’s through the increasing amount of ghettos of the new America.  People are losing their jobs and their homes, but the leaders of the world don’t care about the plights of the poor anymore.

They elevate their green programs for the environment, while actively touting their new programs to charge people for the air they breathe.  The only thing green about this movement is the money that they will be making off of us, the people.

I do believe it is time for a real king, that doesn’t rule the people, but represents the people of this world.  We need a leader that will speak up for our needs and not their needs.  We need someone that will take care of the poor’s needs and that will elevate the people, rather than the corporations.

Whom does the president and congress serve?  We the people of the United States of America……

May God help us all
