Takedown Notices – Cease and Desist Notices

As we want to ensure our website does not engage in any copyright infringement, we as humans can make mistakes, especially since anyone can post anything to our news site, so we have added this takedown page for which email address to contact and what should be added in the subject line so that we can notice the takedown requests and act accordingly. All takedown notices and cease and desist orders have to come from legitimate copyright holders or agents authorized under copyright law. Any fraudulent takedown notices will be ignored and may be reported to the service provider for sending a fraudulent request.

If any authorized copyright agent, copyright holder, or content creator wishes to send a takedown notice to USWGO Alternative News then do the following:

(1)The email address always monitored is admin@uswgo.com (Remove the [] brackets from the email address). So send any cease and desist order to admin[@]uswgo.com (Remove the [] brackets from the email address) and we will comply in accordance to copyright law.

(2)The subject line should either have “cease and desist” or “takedown notice” because those are the lines I will be noticing even with spam emails it is easy to see emails with those subject lines. If you put whatever you want on the subject line it will be impossible or difficult to know we are even being sent a cease and desist or takedown notice. Please use a subject line that we can understand as it helps us to help you comply with the takedown order.

(3)The takedown notice or cease and desist order must not be fake. Any pranks will be considered abuse and be reported to the service provider for pretending to be a authorized agent. If the notice is coming from a legitimate content creator or authorized agent then the takedown notice will be complied with in accordance to copyright law.
